Weaving School

The purpose of educational activity “Weaving School” is to increase youth’s interest in old craft, to remind them about old traditions, also to popularise and preserve ancient Lithuanian weaving craft tradition. Participants in this activity are familiarised with various weaving techniques, weaving of exquisite patterns and weaving belts. Depending on participants age we suggest choosing one of two weaving ways: handmade belt making by cards or a more exquisite weaving by loom. Little ones could try tangle weaving using paper cards.
