Most Sacred – the Franciscan Monastery and Church Complex

It is unlikely that anywhere else in Lithuania you will find a place with as many sacred objects and unique records as here, in the Ensemble of the Franciscan Monastery and the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Seven altars, one of which is the highest in Lithuania, the painting of St. Anthony of Padua famous for its miracles, the relics of saints, the oldest church door in Lithuania that survived fires and calamities, the traces of saintly monk J. Pabrėža. These are just a small part of the sacred things that can be seen and experienced in Kretinga.
