On the Paths of Bernardines

On 29 July 2016, Kretinga District Municipality Administration and the Lithuanian Business Support Agency signed a contract on implementation of the project “On the Paths of Bernardines”. The project is financed by the European Regional Development Fund according to Measure No 05.4.1-LVPA-K-808 „E-Marketing of Priority Tourism Development Regions“ under of Priority Axis 5 “Environment, Sustainable Use of Natural Resources and Adaptation to Climate Change” of the Programme for the European Union funds’ investments in 2014-2020.

The project is aimed at increasing the visitability and visibility of the cultural objects related to the group of objects “On the Paths of Bernardines” recognised as relevant to the State through electronic marketing means and channels. To achieve the afore-mentioned aim, the following activities will be carried out: creation of a website and electronic marketing measures and their integration into social media and creation and implementation of advertising measures. The project is aimed at creative an attractive, modern and functional website which publishes information on the objects of the paths of Bernardines and other electronic marketing measures (video diary, bank of photos, game/application) which will raise awareness of the objects and encourage more tourists to visit them. Promotional campaigns rasing awareness of the afore-mentioned objects will also be carried out.
