Development of the Tourism Information Infrastructure and its Adaptation to the Needs of the Disabled in Kretinga District Municipality and Palanga Town Municipality

Kretinga District Municipality Administration in cooperation with Palanga Town Municipality Administration will implement the project “Development of the Tourism Information Infrastructure and its Adaptation to the Needs of the Disabled in Kretinga District Municipality and Palanga Town Municipality”.

The project is financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

According to the project, it is planned to erect information stands for the visually impaired, tactile maps, interactive stands which may be comfortably used by people of reduced mobility, sound-engineering systems in outdoor stands, directional signs near the sites to visit till March 2019.

In total 47 means of identification were installed: 13 means of identification were installed in Kretinga District Municipality, 34 means of identification were installed in Palanga Town Municipality.
