Soap production

We use soap every day but we don't think about its origins, how our grandparents and great-grandparents used to wash. The participants of the programme will familiarise with different soap production techniques, learn to produce soap according to the ancient traditions using animal fat (lard), various oils or soap base. The programme consists of 3 subgroups chosen taking into account the age and interests of the participants. Duration of the class: 1.5 hours. Classes are delivered by the traditional craftswoman Rasa Balsevičienė. 1. The subprogramme "Soap production of animal fat" is intended for learners over 14 years. and for adult groups of up to 25 people; Price per group: EUR 78. 2. The subprogramme "Soap production of vegetable fats" is intended for learners over 14 years. and for adult groups of up to 25 people; Price per group: EUR 93. 3. The subprogramme "Soap production of soap base" is intended for learners over 7 years. and for adult groups of up to 25 people; Price per group: EUR 88.
