Every year at the beginning of June, Kretinga becomes a vibrant center of culture and community life. Alongside the Feast of St. Anthony, the city celebration takes place. During this time, long-standing traditions, strong community spirit, and a variety of cultural events come together across different spaces in Kretinga. The city fills with concerts, fairs, performances by artistic groups, sports events, and other activities. An important part of the program is dedicated to the long-standing traditions of the Feast of St. Anthony and religious celebrations held at the Franciscan Church of Kretinga, which blend harmoniously with the cultural and entertainment events throughout the city.
