The international living history festival “KURŠĒ ONT IMBARIES”

The annual International Living History Festival “Kuršē Ont Imbaries”, held each summer in the Kretinga District, transports visitors back to the times of the Curonians, revealing the battles and daily life of Baltic tribes. The festival takes place in an impressive historical setting – on and at the foot of the Imbarė Hillfort. Here, the lives of ancient warriors, craftsmen, and tribes come to life. The event features authentic battle reenactments, traditional crafts, medieval music, and educational activities for families. Performances by historical clubs from Lithuania and abroad also take place. The festival stands out for its authentic atmosphere and the opportunity not only to observe but also to experience living history. Each year, it attracts a large number of history enthusiasts and curious visitors alike.
