Places to visit
Mini Zoo
It’s an approximately 1-hectare fenced forest area with a pond, where over 40 different domestic animals and birds roam and swim freely. At first glance, it might not seem extraordinary—sheep, goats, rabbits, ducks, geese... But quite often, there are more visitors here than animals.
Everyone who comes—especially children—wants to pet the animals, feed them with food we provide, and take photos with them. Here you’ll meet llamas, donkeys, a pony, black-necked and black swans, Mandarin and Bahama ducks, and decorative chickens of various breeds.
Some of the newest additions to our mini-zoo are a pair of donkeys: Gruodis, who arrived after a long bureaucratic process from the Panevėžys nature station, and Liepa. Strangely enough, people really love donkeys—perhaps because, although simple animals, they are quite rare in Lithuania.
In the pond, you’ll see a black-necked swan, a pair of black swans, Mandarin and Bahama ducks—often visited by their wild friends—and many other birds. The animal collection keeps growing: the goats have already had kids—joining the adult goats are little ones named September, October, and November.
