Baubliai Manor House

Baubliai folwark homestead in which on 18 September 1968 the book smuggler, prohibited Lithuanian press distribution organiser, collaborator of the Catholic press, public and church figure, builder of Salantai church, a participant of The Great Seimas of Vilnius (1905) and Vilnius Conference (1917), was born, vicar general of the Diocese of Telšiai, prelate of Telšiai Chapter and the Papal Palace ( Pranas Urbonavičius (died on 27 May 1941, buried in the churchyard of Salantai Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary) was born was situated in this place. During the Soviet times, a livestock farming complex of the farming collective (kolkhoz) of the Young Guard was built in the homestead. The historical place is not marked by a commemorative shield.
