Memorial plaque

Typical commemorative plaque for commemoration of the fighters for the freedom of Lithuania who were prisoned, interrogated and tortured in the building of NKVD–MVD–MGB Salantai unit which was located in this place during the period of 1946–1954, Šermukšnių g. 6. Opened in 2004 (author of the project: sculptor Jonas Jagėla).
