Memorial plaque for the commander Vladas Nagevičius

The physician, archeologist, national and public figure, creator volunteer of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, head of the Military Sanitary Service, founder and head of the War Museum, general Vladas Nagius-Nagevičius (1880–1954) was born and grew and during the period between the two world wars spent summers in the wooden house of Marija Magdalena Eitavičiūtė-Nagevičienė which was located in this place. A plaster masonry house built in 1940 stands instead of the old house; in 1991 on the wall of the main facade a black polished granite commemorative plaque bearing the inscription "The lover of Lithuania Marija Magdalena Eitavičiūtė-Nagevičienė and her son Vladas Nagevičius-Nagius, i.e. physician, archeologist, creator-volunteer of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, the head of the War Museum, famous public figure lived in the house which was located in this place" was fixed on the initiative of Kretinga Local History Museum. The commemorative plaque was produced by the masters of the Monument Workshops of Kretinga District population domestic service plant.
