Mišučiai Hillfort

Mišučiai hillfort with a settlement also known as Nausodis hillfort, Pilalė, Mongirdas pilalė, is situated in the left bank of the river Minija, at the confluence with the rivulet Prūdupis which formed in the promontory. The hillfort dates back to the first millenium – the 13th century. The hillfort is significantly destroyed by plowing, the northern part of the court is washed by the rivulet. The hillfort is overgrown with deciduous trees and bushes.
