Padvariai tumuli

Explorations revealed that people were buried in the part of Padvariai barrows which have survived till these days from the 2nd millenium BC untill the end of the 1st millenium AC. Barrows are valuable not for abundance of its findings but for its age and interesting well-preserved stone structures. People tell that giants, i.e. extremely strong, very tall people about whose lifes a lot of stories are told, are buried in the barrows.
