Pelėkiai stone with bowls

Pelėkiai stone with pits, also called Devil's stone, lies on the top of the highland, further to the east from Sudėnai stone and to the south-east from the road to Senoji Įpiltis village. Stone is geological and cultural heritage, of elongated shape, 5,8 x 4,3 m size, with flat surface with 90 small 3–4.5 cm diameter pits. Formerly, a source with healing powers spewed from the bottom of the stone. It is said that daemons dance and ghosts appear on the stone at night; and priestess were burning fire and offering sacrifices to gods at pagan times.
