Salantai Manor Park

Salantai Manor Park equals to much more known parks by its beauty and history. The advantage of this corner of nature is the place. The park is along the vivid rivulet Salantas. However, elements of water, plants and stone merge here. It is also charming that the park is particularly mysterious; noone does not know exactly when it was established. It is possible that the park existed already in the 18th century when the park was initiated on the basis of the orchard established by the aristocrat family Vaina. Later on, the park was fostered by all masters of the manor. Indeed, the manor itself has not survived but several tumbledown outbuildings can still be found but beautiful life of the noblemen are reminded only by the park. And it is a perfect place for strolls: nice paths are somehow similar to the avenues of the manor, benches are fitted in the shadows of trees, the environment is dressed with sculptures, playgrounds.
