The miniature world can be very interesting, as every detail can be seen as if from above, from a bird’s-eye view. To examine Kretinga from such a perspective, one only needs to climb the church tower. And if you want to see the church as if from the sky, you don’t need to climb or fly anywhere. The first tactile map made of bronze is located in the square near the church; it shows the complex of the Kretinga Franciscan Monastery and the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The map can be touched and is adapted for visually impaired visitors, with information on the Franciscan ensemble provided in Braille. It is a perfect cognitive tool for everyone who visits Kretinga and plans to explore the Franciscan complex.
