The Way of Saint Exaltation of the Holy Cross

Colourful Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross is probably the most remarkable object in Budriai village. The cosy wooden church has served the residents of Budriai who love their village for more than one hundred years. The current church in Budriai built in 1903 had its precursor already in the 18th century. At that time, there was a chapel in the village. Nevertheless, at the beginning of the 20th century, a larger church built by virtue of effort of the residents of the parish opened the door. The church is still fostered by the residents of the parish. The prayer home renovated several years ago have been recognised as the object protected by the State; the interior of the church is decorated by three wooden altars, an elegant carved pulpit. A wooden belfry in the churchyard of the church distinguished by an unusual roof catches attention.
